Craiging Crozer
Pennsylvania State Representative Craig Williams has proposed using $200 million in unspent funds from last year’s state budget to create a Hospital Acquisition Assistance Fund. Under his plan, these funds would be used to entice a buyer to reopen Crozer Hospital and potentially other shuttered facilities. This fund would be overseen by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
Williams’ plan is dangerously misguided and misleading.
